Volunteers are at the heart of our organization.

It’s not just about financial support. There are plenty of ways for you to get involved.  We run regular stewardship events, like our Nature Walks and Preserve Cleanups, where we invite community participation.

We’re also always looking for content for our newsletter, as well as help publicizing the work SLCT does, among other things.

​

When it comes to Stewardship, the work begins as soon as land or a conservation easement is acquired. Each property needs to be properly managed. This includes invasive species control; monitoring for dumping; assessing overall wildlife and vegetation health, and legal protection if needed.  Learn more under the Stewardship tab.
