About the Event

Did you know there are spring wildflowers in our local forests that grow, flower, and set seed over the span of a few weeks before going dormant for the remainder of the year? They take advantage of the warming spring sun while it hits the forest floor and isn't getting hogged by the tall trees and all their leaves. Come look for and learn about these spring ephemerals on Saturday, April 5th with Head Steward Aubrey Carter at our Altschul Preserve.

We'll meet at the end of Mill Stream Road at 10AM. If you arrive late or need help finding the group, please reach out to Aubrey at 203.252.9421.
