The Stamford Land Conservation Trust (SLCT) is dedicated to the preservation and protection of open space in the City of Stamford, both for the benefit of the citizens of the city and the sustainability of our environment. Rich Chiaramonte is a Stamford native and Past President of the SLCT. He has a Master’s degree in Sustainability Management from Columbia University and has been actively involved in environmental education and awareness for many years. Presently he teaches Ecological Science, focusing on contemporary environmental issues, at Hamden Hall Country Day School.
